as sponsor of Damien Jeffery’s Routemaster in Year of the Bus Sculpture Trail
Liberty Investment Bank, which recently unveiled Euro-dispensing ATMs across the London Underground networkin association with TfL,is making its mark on the Capital this October. Liberty Investment Bank has been selected assponsor of ‘Rock and Royal’ one of 60 Routemaster bus sculptures to be placed around London to mark the Year of the Bus.
Starting on13th Octoberand lasting until 1st December, The Year of the Bus Sculpture Trail activation organised by TfL and Wild In Artwill feature in five areas of the Capital, showcasing the role London’s buses play in the life and economy of the city. Grouped in clusters, the trail will offer members of the public the chance to discover the bus sculptures on foot.
The ‘Rock and Royal’bus sculpture sponsored by Liberty Investment Bank will be placed in Leicester Square and will feature the repeated iconic image of Bearskin guards,synonymous with the pomp and splendour of events such as the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace and the Trooping The Colour ceremony. The guards will be in a rainbow of different, eye-catching colours in a design created bythe well-known artist Damien Jeffery, famous for his murals and eye-catching mascot and gorilla sculptures.
In January, the buses will be auctioned to raise equal funds for charities Kids Company, Transaid and London Transport Museum.
